Gathering Sunday - September 7

Please come to the 9:00 a.m. ministry fair and Gathering Sunday picnic lunch after the 10 a.m. service.   A main course and drinks will be provided by the Fellowship Commission, Jean Hansen, and the youth group.  Parishioners are asked to bring a salad or dessert to share.  Last names A-L please bring a salad; M-Z please bring a dessert.  We will have an inflatable jumper to entertain the kids!  A $5.00 donation is suggested with all proceeds going to fund next year's youth group mission trip.  Come investigate the different ministries present at St. John's while enjoying lunch--we hope to see you there!

Audubon's Second Metro-Area Global Warming Symposium

Sept. 27, 9:00 a.m. - Noon, St. John's Church Sanctuary

Join Audubon members and friends for an informative morning learning what efforts and programs the City of St. Paul and the City of Minneapolis are implementing to address climate change; how global warming will alter Minnesota's climate; and what small changes you can make to reduce your own carbon emission.  Free and open to the public.
